That's how I felt for the past few years. I was always searching for that thing, that secret sauce, that silver bullet that would help me finally succeed, finally find that easy way to succeed. Because surely, it must exist, right? It can't always be that hard?
Recently, when Mojca and I reignited our passion for reading books, I re-read a few books that have not made a huge impact on me in the past. This time, they completely opened my mind.
The biggest revelation I had (which I also got tattooed) was that most things in life are simple, but they’re far from easy.
Take weight loss, for example. The formula is simple: burn more calories than you consume and stay active. Or, if you’re trying to grow a business, the path is clear: create great content, build a strong team, and offer a product people love. Sounds straightforward, right?
But here’s the catch—while the steps are simple, actually following through is where things get tough. Discipline, consistency, and effort are what separate success from wishful thinking.
Instead of searching for shortcuts or hacks, the real question to ask yourself is: How badly do I want it? Because at the end of the day, it’s not about finding the easiest way—it’s about putting in the work to get where you want to be.
